The 25th annual Webby Awards has announced its nominees. Deemed the “Internet’s highest honor,” The Webby Awards recognize the best of the Internet and are the world’s largest competition with over 13,000 entries per year from the U.S. and 70 other countries.
With 11 nominations and 12 honoree distinctions, we’ve been nominated for the prestigious Webby Agency of the Year. Our collaborations with Google, Patagonia, KFC, DWR, Silveroak, Futuremood, and Furrion as well as our cultural initiatives called Crafted and Moves were recognized as leaders in best practices, best user experience, visual design, and navigation and structure, as well as other experience specific categories. The awarded work encompasses a range of industries including retail, social responsibility, fashion, beauty, and B2B/professional services.
As a nominee, BASIC® is eligible to win a Webby People’s Voice Award, voted online by fans across the globe. From now until May 8th, fans can cast their votes at vote.webbyawards.com. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
As the agency of record for Google Store, our four year collaboration has been recognized each year by the Webby Awards. This year, we’ve been nominated twice in the Websites and Mobile Sites category for Features & Design: Best User Experience and Best Mobile Visual Design: Function. We also received Honoree recognition for Best Visual Design - Function, Best Visual Design - Aesthetic, and Best use of Animation / Motion Graphics.
As part of a holistic digital transformation, the all-new KFC.com was recognized as an Honoree for Websites and Mobile Sites: Best Mobile User Interface.
Design Within Reach
Our collaboration to redesign and optimize the digital shopping experience for DWR resulted in two Honoree recognitions for Best Practices as well as Best Navigation / Structure.
Through a brand and digital transformation, the all-new SilverOak.com not only drove a 300% increase in online revenue but also brought home three Honoree recognitions for Best Practices, Best User Interface, and Best Responsive/Adaptive Design for Mobile.
The progressive eyewear brand’s eCommerce platform we designed and built received two Honoree recognitions within Best Visual Design for both the desktop as well as the mobile browsing experience.
The flagship experience for Furrion was recognized as a Nominee in the Best Mobile Visual Design category for its functionality.
